PHIL AND RACHEL McRAE’S NEW T6050
Phil and Rachel McRae of Boondah, Breeza recently took delivery of a New Holland
T6050 Plus Tractor. This machine was ordered by Phil with specific factory options
such as Extra Remotes, Front Suspension and Narrow tyres to suit his farming and
spraying operations at Breeza. A New Holland/Challenge front end loader was also
fitted to the tractor. Pictured are Phil and Rachel on delivery of their new machine.
In a move aimed at producing the
best shaped small bale possible,
Gary has upgraded from his 10
year old New Holland 575 baler
to the New Holland BC5060.
Keeping with New Holland for
its reliability and ease of service, availability of parts and the fact that Gary is
confident in carrying out maintenance and adjustments were all important factors
in the decision.
While the New Holland 575 produces a very good bale, Gary wanted to upgrade
the baler and after doing some research and talking with Merv Leard of Goodwin
Kenny, he decided the New Holland BC5060 would give him the best possible bale
for his hay customers. On start-up the baler went into a Lucerne crop with big
windrows and put out 600+ bales in the next 2 ½ hours ahead of rain.
ROY AND JOAN SAVIC’S NEW HOLLAND BOOMER
After recently moving to Forest Hills (Tamworth) Roy and Joan Savic were looking
for a small tractor combination to do the landscaping and tidying up without the hard
manual labour. Roy has chosen a New Holland Boomer 1030 (28Hp) fitted with a
1.54m Mid Mounted mower deck, a Challenge 4 in 1 Front End Loader and
a Superior post hole digger. The decision to buy New Holland was easy as Roy’s
brother in Queensland has a Boomer 1025 and has been very happy with it over
a few years. Having just constructed a couple of new sheds and some long pipe
trenches, the tractor will spend its first few months moving dirt creating and
shaping raised garden beds and digging holes for boundary and decorative fences.

FARRER’S NEW HOWARD PROCUT
With the large area of ovals and surrounds that Farrer High School needs to keep in
a useable condition, finishing mowers are required to work hard constantly.
A new Howard Procut P3-210 has been chosen because of it’s reliability, robust
construction and quality of cut.
Maintenance of the Procut P3-210 is easy with remote spindle/bearing greasing
points, stainless steel covers over the 2 belt drive and spindles and the Laser Bladez
tilt forward fling-tip cutting blades. The front and rear rollers and side skids help
reduce scalping in undulating areas and guarantee a smooth even finish on the
football ovals. Pictured at left is Brian Coleman and his faithful helpers at start-up.
